DM shares best practices with Ministry of Cabinet Affairs

Dubai Municipality is the first government department in the emirate of Dubai that automated 100% of procurement procedures successfully in all fields of municipal work: said Ibrahim Yaccob Ali, director contracts and purchasing department at Dubai Municipality while he was receiving a delegation from Ministry of Cabinet Affairs to DM.
“Last year we have completed the entire procedures of 5,000 tenders online which in turn saved a huge amount of money ,paper and time and helped DM contribute to its vision to be the forerunner in the eco-friendly initiatives” Ali said.
“DM is the first government department to apply the e-committee system using the eSupply portal of Dubai Government with the support of Tejari.
The delegation headed by Fouziya Al Tayer, director financial and administrative affairs at Ministry of Cabinet Affairs was briefed about experience of DM in using the Tejari system. the delegation praised the efforts of civic body , learned the stages of implementation and stressed the need of such visits to exchange knowledge and best practices.
