Lootah visits Diera fish market project

Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, director general of Dubai Municipality has visited the ongoing Diera fish and vegetable market project to review the smooth progress of the project and its conformity with the standards set by the Civic Body.

Lootah was accompanied by assistant director generals and senior officials of Dubai Municipality and representative of contracting companies involved in the project.

The director general expressed his happiness on the timely progress and execution of the project and said that 48% of the work has been completed and we expect to receive the project by the month of August 2015, fully equipped and prepared for the operation with all sophisticated features in tune with the best international practices in construction of specific markets.

“The market will cope with the entire requirements of community in a fish and vegetable market as the civic body will provide best services ensuring the trade of fresh fish and healthy vegetable in the market,” he said.

The Dhs269mn project will also contribute to the tourism features of the emirate as we have added so many attractions for the visitors with all basic facilities,” he added.
