The museum is located at the Historical district of Al Shindagha on the banks of Dubai Creek.

This House was built in the forties of the last century. It was used basically as the residence of the late Sheikha Mozah Bint Saeed, may God bless her soul. She converted her house to a museum for the stallions and everything related to it.
The total space of the museum is 698 m2, with a height of 5.85 m. It consist of two floors, Ground and First; where most of the rooms are distributed across a domestic yard (Housh), and an upper floor consisted of one room. The building has two entrances, eastern and southern.
The building was designed and rehabilitated to become a Horse museum to explain the stallion history, its eminence for Arabs, its names and citing in the Arabic literature.
The museum has 13 rooms that contain: History of stallions, stallion breeds, stallion types, description of stallion bodies, stallion illnesses and care, relationship between Stallion and Arabs in the past, stallion in the Arabic literature, History of stallions in the Emirates, famous stallions and its breeds in Emirates, endurance races.
