- Registration now open for Emirati farmers, home-based businesses, and owners of local agricultural products.
- 41 Emirati farmers to showcase fresh, organic produce directly to residents and visitors.
- New season to run every Saturday and Sunday from 6 December 2025 to 8 February 2026, following a 49% surge in visitor turnout last season.
Dubai Municipality has announced the opening of registration for the fifth season of the Farmers’ Market, one of its flagship community initiatives that brings together Emirati farmers and local producers on a single platform. The initiative enables them to showcase their products directly to residents and visitors, while receiving full support to develop their farms and businesses, enhance local agricultural output, and promote sustainable farming practices. It also reinforces Dubai’s position as a global benchmark for quality of life and environmental sustainability.
Returning to Quranic Park in Al Khawaneej, the new season will run from 6 December 2025 to 8 February 2026, every Saturday and Sunday. The previous season recorded a 49% increase in visitor numbers, underscoring the event’s popularity and value as a vibrant, family-friendly experience. The market offers an opportunity for the public to purchase fresh, locally grown produce in a festive atmosphere enriched with cultural activities and interactive entertainment for all ages.
This season, 41 Emirati farmers are set to participate, alongside 16 local product and agricultural supply owners, presenting a wide array of fresh and organic goods. The initiative reflects Dubai Municipality’s commitment to supporting local agriculture as a key pillar of the emirate’s economic future. It also forms part of a broader mandate to empower Emirati farmers through logistical support, agricultural supplies, training programmes, awareness campaigns, and advisory services that promote sustainable farming practices.
The Farmers’ Market represents a unique intersection of community engagement, entrepreneurship, and environmental responsibility. It expands access to local products, strengthens consumer awareness, and serves as a platform for direct exchange between producers and the community, fostering a culture of sustainability, responsible consumption, and support for national production.
Mohammed Ahli, Acting Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, said: “We are delighted to welcome the return of the Farmers’ Market for its fifth season — a dynamic agricultural and community initiative hosted in Quranic Park, one of Dubai’s most culturally rich and family-oriented destinations. The market is more than a space for local farmers to sell their produce. It is a civic experience that brings people together, strengthens appreciation for Emirati products, and encourages sustainable consumer habits.”
The upcoming season will feature a range of new additions and entertainment activities, including educational workshops, interactive sessions, and dedicated community events for diverse audiences.
Registration is now open via the Dubai Municipality website at https://www.dm.gov.ae. Interested participants must upload their details and required documents by 20 November 2025.
The fourth season welcomed 102,625 visitors, providing a dedicated platform for farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs to engage directly with the public. A wide variety of locally produced goods — including vegetables, fruits, dairy products, honey, and dates — were made available, reinforcing the community’s awareness and appreciation of local production and the importance of food sustainability.
