In its keenness to strengthen and organize the contractual relationships between owners, consultants, and contractors, with the aim of implementing and completing private villa projects without obstacles, and reducing contractual, financial, and legal disputes that lead to delays in work progress and failure to complete projects on time, and in order to preserve the rights of all parties, Dubai Municipality has prepared guideline templates for engineering consultancy service contracts and building contracting contracts.
These templates include all the technical standards and clauses related to the obligations and responsibilities of all parties in a clear and precise manner, with the aim of using them as a reference when concluding contracts for private villa projects. These contracts are for guidance only and are not mandatory, and the contracting parties have the right to amend them according to what they agree upon among themselves.
