Umm Suqeim 1 Beach

Umm Suqeim 1 Beach is considered one of the most important tourist attractions in the Emirate of Dubai, as it overlooks the famous Burj Al Arab. It is an essential destination for beach-goers and swimmers. This beach extends for a length of 2.4 km and offers different sports facilities such as a kite surfing area, jogging track and a board-walk. In addition, Umm Suqeim 2 Beach provides other facilities such as beach lounges for the public, kids playground areas and beach access corridors for people of determination and the elderly. Motorized water sports, such as jet skis and banana boats, are available in areas that are safely separated from the swimming areas. Trained and licensed beach lifeguards are present from sunrise at dedicated posts as well as patrolling the length of the beach to ensure the safety of the swimmers and beach-goers. Moreover, this beach is characterized by being the only beach that allocates an area for night swimming, where the beach-goers can swim after sunset until midnight as the beach is lit by smart light poles and has allocated lifeguards in this area until midnight.
