Withdrawal of Kinder Egg chocolate products from the market after being contaminated with salmonella

With regards to the news concerning the withdrawal of Kinder Egg chocolate products from the UK market after being contaminated with salmonella, which was the source of poisoning mostly children in the UK.
The following is the Food Safety Department’s response to this inquiry:
The Food Safety Department in Dubai Municipality confirms that Ferrero, the owner of the brand (Kinder) UAE branch, is withdrawing specific batches of the product from the local markets as a precautionary measure, and that these specific batches are currently no longer presented to the consumer, with follow-ups by the Food Safety Department.
Noting that the product affected specifically is Kinder Surprise Maxi 100 g batch, which expires on October 1, 2022.
The Food Safety Department also confirms that no cases have been reported due to this product.
The Food Safety Department would also like to assure the public that all food products are under continuous monitoring to ensure their safety and suitability for consumption, including chocolate products.
Dubai Municipality, Food Safety Department advises the public to avoid consuming batches of the product that expires on October 1 2022.
