Dubai Municipality affirms Eid Al-Adha readiness with field team of 2,800 staff across the emirate

Dubai Municipality has affirmed its full readiness to manage operations across the emirate during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, deploying a field team of 2,800 engineers, supervisors, inspectors, and specialised workers. The initiative ensures high standards of public health, safety, and environmental cleanliness across public spaces, facilities, and events.

The Municipality has intensified preparations across key areas, including sanitation, food safety, beach and park operations, and abattoir services. These efforts are designed to support residents and visitors throughout the holiday period while reinforcing Dubai’s position as a leading global city offering safe, seamless, and high-quality services.

To ensure city-wide cleanliness during the holiday, Dubai Municipality has deployed more than 2,300 sanitation engineers, supported by 250 supervisory and inspection staff. The teams are responsible for overseeing field operations, supported by a fleet of 752 fully equipped vehicles and machinery.

Comprehensive cleaning campaigns have already been conducted across Eid prayer grounds, public facilities, gathering points, green spaces, and main and secondary roads. Waste storage containers have also been strategically placed across vital areas to accommodate increased waste volumes during the holiday.

A team of 250 inspectors and monitors has been assigned to enforce public health and food safety standards, including inspection of event venues and food establishments. Oversight will also extend to public parks and key recreational destinations including Dubai Frame (from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM), Children’s City (from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM), and several major parks (from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM), such as Al Mamzar, Creek Park, Zabeel Park, Al Safa, Mushrif National Park, and the Quranic Park (from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM).

Dubai Municipality has also increased readiness at public beaches, and those designated for night swimming, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim 1, to welcome visitors, In addition, specific beaches have been allocated exclusively for families, as part of Dubai Municipality’s efforts to regulate beach access during the Eid Al-Adha holiday and ensure that residents and visitors enjoy a safe, smooth, and fully integrated recreational experience at Dubai’s beaches.

As part of its seasonal campaign, Dubai Municipality has ensured that all public abattoirs are fully equipped and operational, supported by qualified staff and advanced logistical arrangements. The campaign ensures a safe and hygienic experience for customers and is aligned with the Municipality’s broader public health and food safety standards.

Dubai Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and high-quality experience for all residents and visitors during Eid Al-Adha. The Municipality called on the public to cooperate with official guidelines to support community safety and public order.
