- Establishing, maintaining, and managing markets, slaughterhouses, public parks, public beaches, and recreational facilities.
- Managing, preserving, and sustaining urban heritage.
- Promoting and developing green spaces, and beautifying the city.
- Managing the wastewater and irrigation systems, including sewage networks, stations, and treatment plants.
- Implementing integrated waste management.
- Monitoring activities related to public health within the emirate.
- Monitoring food-related activities to ensure food safety.
- Monitoring occupational health and safety, overseeing health-related consumer products, and supervising workers’ accommodation.
