Dubai’s Best Homegrown Produce Competition
Dubai Municipality launches initiatives and competitions to involve all members of society in facing the global food challenge, and one of these competitions is “the best productive home garden” to encourage citizens and residents to exploit all available spaces to cultivate fruits and vegetable crops, in order to achieve self-sufficiency, increase income, and elevate the quality of life in the UAE community.
• The competition is for residential areas in Dubai.
• No apartments.
Competition Goals:
Spreading the concept of productive agriculture, as it is considered the basic element of food security system.
Working to adopt the concept of environmental sustainability and achieving family self-sufficiency.
Increasing community awareness of the latest methods and techniques used in agriculture.
Spreading happiness among family members and its positive role in the community.
Winners will be announced in May 2024

Competition terms and conditions:
- The competition is for residential areas in Dubai.
- No apartments and buildings.
- Eligible for home garden owners (owners or renters).
- Indoor garden or rooftops.
- Farm owners are not eligible to participate in the competition.
- A member of the Supreme Committee, the Technical Committee, or the rest of the subcommittees are not entitled to participate in the competition.
- The participant has the right to participate after filling out the participation questionnaire, fulfilling the requirements, and agreeing to the terms and conditions.
- The decisions of the arbitration committee are considered final according to the approved standards.
