The Awareness guide for regulating the use of single-use products

In implementation of Executive Council Resolution No. (124) of 2023 regulating the use of single-use products in the Emirate of Dubai — issued by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai — Dubai Municipality has announced that the final phase of the resolution concerning the ban on single-use plastic products will come into effect on 1 January 2026. This milestone coincides with the enforcement of Cabinet Resolution No. (380) of 2022 regulating the use of single-use products across UAE markets.
