In 2003 Dubai Municipality (DM) implemented the first Virtual Reference Station (DVRS) in the Middle east. The DVRS system has more than 18 GNSS stations cover whole of Dubai and can collect most of the Signals (GPS; GLONASS;GALELIO & BEIDO signals ) and Process the data using Many software such as Geo++ Pivot software.
It provides instant access to high-accuracy position for surveying ; construction ; GIS and Positioning applications with sub-centimeter accuracy it helps you achieve the quality standards you need 24/7 in less time to Improve your productivity and your profits. Surveyors can submit request via DM portal to receive the DVRS corrections through a wireless connection, often using the Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol (NTRIP), Also you may get GPS Rinex Data for some GNSS stations.

The Height From DVRS is Ellipsoidal height which has no meaning in Engineering Projects ; So DM computed Precise Geoid MODEL for Dubai Emirate using Gravity and GPS/Leveling Data to provide the surveyors with Orthometrical Height through some services.
