Wosool Service

Below are the Wosool Service

Wosool aims to provide assessment services to existing buildings according to the requirements of comprehensive design and accessibility standards, as per the Dubai Universal Design Code. A team of specialized engineers from the Building Permits Department conducts a site visit to the existing buildings, evaluates them and drafts a feedback report related to the building’s compliance  with the requirements of comprehensive design. Accordingly, it issues the related certificates based on the approved classification and criteria.

Services:

    • Request for Preliminary Assessment: Technical support and site visit report
    • Request for Final Assessment: Site visit report and Wosool classification certificate
    • Request for Training: Training course on Dubai Universal Design Code and related checklists.

Objectives:

  • Contribute to achieving the Dubai Municipality policy aiming to rehabilitate existing buildings for people of determination
  • Encourage landlords and investors to provide the highest levels in comprehensive design standards, qualify their buildings to be friendly with people of determination, and, accordingly, grant landlords and investors appreciation certificates
  • Ensure the implementation of Dubai Universal Design Codes and Accessibility Criteria on existing Buildings, thus, contributing to achieving the Dubai vision of being a friendly city for people of determination
  • Provide exceptional services at the technical and communal levels
  • Raising the level of happiness in Dubai for all segments of society, including residents, visitors, families and individuals.

  • Accessible Building

This certificate is granted to an existing building that meets Wosool requirements and scores 75% and above as per the Accessibility criteria stated in the Checklist and the Dubai Universal Design Codes.

  • Accessible UNI

This Certificate is granted to an existing building that meets Wosool requirements and scores 90 % and above as per the Accessibility criteria stated in the Checklist and the Dubai Universal Design Codes.
