Consulting Engineering Offices in Dubai are limited to offices that are licensed by the Department of Economic Development (DED) and authorized to practice consulting engineering and contracting activities in Dubai by the Registration and Licensing Committee. This can only be received after meeting the approved conditions and standards for Consulting Engineering activities and the requirements for registering in Dubai Municipality’s Contractors and Consultants Register.
Dubai Municipality has classified Consulting Engineering Offices according to the following:
- Local Engineering Office
- Joint Engineering Office
- Consulting Engineering Office
- Branch of Foreign Engineering Office
Contracting Companies:
Contracting companies in Dubai are limited to companies licensed by the DED and authorized to practice consulting engineering and contracting in Dubai by the Registration and Licensing Committee. This can only be received after meeting the approved conditions and standards for contracting activities and the requirements for registering in Dubai Municipality’s Consultants and Contractors Register.
Building Materials Suppliers and Manufacturers:
Building Materials Suppliers and Manufacturers are limited to companies licensed by DED, and registered in the professional engineering practice records at the Committee of Registration and Licensing the Practice of Engineering Consultancy and Contracting in the Emirate of Dubai, after meeting the required standards.
