Block Batch Certification
Under this scheme, the block factory/yard shall register under the block batch certification scheme by submitting the related application form, Dubai Central Laboratory Department – Certification and Quality Control of Products Section (DCLD-CQPS) shall then carry out a visit to the factory/yard and collect samples from the block batches/lots for initial evaluation and testing. Once the outcome of the visit and results of testing are complying with the certification rules and requirements; the factory shall be registered. The online request for batch certification can be submitted by the registered block factory/yard using the appropriate DM-SMART Application. Once received, DCLD-CQPS representative shall withdraw samples from the block batch/lot to be certified. The withdrawn samples by DCLD-CQPS representative auditor are submitted by the client for testing at a recognized approved third party laboratories by DCLD-CQPS (List of approved laboratories is available upon request) and once the results of testing is satisfactory; a conformity certificate is issued to that particular batch/lot.
